Mac OS X on X86 again

先日の ADC で紹介され、一部の開発者に配布されている Mac OS X for Intel がどうやらリークしまくり。そしてまたしても動作画面が晒されている。（Jumping on the bandwagon: OS X on x86! OMG!)。これについては Mac Hacks Allow OS X on PCs | WIRED でも取り上げられており、

The hacked OSx86 bypasses a chip, the Trusted Platform Module, or TPM, that is intended to prevent the system from running on ordinary PCs.

"We have even gone so far as to remove the TPM kernel extension called AppleTPMACPI.kext entirely," said cmoski.

TPM を回避するために AppleTPMACPI.kext という、カーネル拡張を取り除くことで、ただの PC で動くようにしているらしい。OSx86 Project | InsanelyMac という名前そのまんまのサイトでは、http://osx86project.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=19&Itemid=2 というやはり名前そのまんまの記事がポストされてる。みんな色々がんばるな。
